Out of these parts of the oak tree, we prepare semi-finished products for our customers. The work is important: it consists in eliminating major deffects of the oak board.
The outskirt wood surrounding the plot will be taken off from those boards in general.
According to the general quality of the board and its length, the sawer will decide to limit smaller boards from 60 to 250 mm width. Products majoring under 100 mm width are called "frises" and those majoring more than 100 mm width are called "avivés".
Main thickness are 18, 27, 34, 40 et 50 mm.

- 18 mm : wooden floor manufacturing (not very usual thickness)
- 32, 40 et 50 mm from 2 meters to 2.6 meters length : choice for cabinetmaking and rustic
- 27 mm choice with outskirt wood --> panels of 27 x 80 mm
- 27 mm any width, 100 mm and more, "avivés" --> manufacturing of low quality wooden floors and rustic boards. The most commons are great width (from 160 to 250 mm) on great length (from 1.8 to 2.50 meters)
- 80 et 100 mm panels without outskirt wood --> wooden floor
- 110, 130, 150, 170 et 190 mm manufacturing of wooden floor in rustic choice with lengths from 400 to 2100 mm.
- 18, 27, 34 et 41 mm --> "avivé" brown oak air dryed or dryed artificially in drying room, majoring 2.10 meters
